Good News! Three Postdoctoral Fellows of Huairou Laboratory Receiving Funding from China Postdoctoral Science Foundation

China Postdoctoral Science Foundation has recently released its list of funded researchers. Three postdoctoral fellows of Huairou Laboratory successfully landed among the list, of which one was among the 73rd batch of general funding and two were among the 74th batch of general funding. As a result, Huairou Laboratory has made new breakthroughs in the construction of the postdoctoral researcher team.

I. Recipient of the 73rd Batch of General Funding: Dr. Gu Mingxuan
Dr. Gu Mingxuan was graduated from China University of Petroleum majoring in Geological Resources and Geological Engineering. He joined the Postdoctoral Research Station of Huairou Laboratory in December 2022 and mainly engages in researches related to carbon dioxide storage under the guidance of his co-supervisor Academician Jiang Peixue. Currently, he presides over one general program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and participates in multiple programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and horizontal programs of China National Petroleum Corporation. Dr. Gu has published eight SCI papers and has nine national authorized utility patents.
II. Recipient of the 74th Batch of General Funding: Dr. Lu Ping
Dr. Lu Ping was graduated from the Department of Geology, Northwest University majoring in Geo-exploration and Information Technology. She joined the Postdoctoral Research Station of Huairou Laboratory in October 2022 and mainly engages in researches related to carbon dioxide storage under the guidance of her co-supervisor Academician Jiang Peixue. Currently, she presides over one general program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, one postdoctoral funding program of Beijing Municipality, and one program of Shaanxi Provincial Natural Science Basic Research Project. She also participates in three international joint programs and three provincial and ministerial scientific research programs. Dr. Lu has published eight SCI papers and has six national authorized utility patents.
III. Recipient of the 74th Batch of General Funding: Dr. Duan Qijun
Dr. Duan Qijun was graduated from the North China Electric Power University majoring in Electrical Engineering. He joined the Postdoctoral Research Station of Huairou Laboratory in July 2023 and mainly engages in researches related to cable systems under the guidance of his co-supervisor Prof. Zhong Lisheng. Currently, he presides over one general program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and participates in two general programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one program of the National Key Research and Development Program of China, and one general program of Beijing Natural Science Foundation. Dr. Duan has published more than 20 papers, has one authorized utility patent, and has participated in the publication of two English monographs. He once acted as the guest editor of the special issues of a core Chinese journal.
