Huairou Laboratory Hosts Inaugural "Youth Speaks" Event: Academic Sharing Session on Coal Research

On September 13, Huairou Laboratory launched its first "Youth Speaks" event, focusing on academic sharing in the field of coal research. Nine young representatives from eight coal research teams of the Laboratory shared their research backgrounds, current projects, achievements, and personal insights. The event was attended by Wang Li, Deputy Secretary-General of the Laboratory; Li Hao, Secretary-General of the Chinese Association of Young Scientists and Technologists; and representatives from various municipal organizations and experts from the Laboratory's coal research field.

The "Youth Speaks" series aims to create a platform for young researchers to learn from each other, foster mutual growth, and provide inspiration. It encourages young researchers to actively contribute to the nation's scientific and technological development, showcase their talents, and inject new energy into the Laboratory's innovative progress.


Wang Li and Li Hao expressed high expectations for the young researchers, urging them to take on national responsibilities and play a crucial role in supporting China's modernization through technological advancements.


During the event, the nine young representatives enthusiastically presented their work and shared their research progress and personal experiences. The attending young researchers engaged in lively discussions, asking questions and exchanging ideas. This sharing of scientific work and in-depth discussions boosted the confidence and enthusiasm of the Laboratory's young researchers, creating an excellent atmosphere for mutual learning. Senior experts in the coal research field offered words of encouragement, motivating the young researchers to delve deeper into their respective fields with renewed passion and determination, thus contributing to our country's goal of achieving high-level scientific and technological self-reliance.


Over 40 researchers from relevant teams of the Laboratory participated in the event.
