Director Tang Guangfu Attends the Inaugural Meeting of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Advisory Committee

On November 18, the inaugural meeting of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Advisory Committee was held in Hohhot. Secretary of the Regional Party Committee, Sun Shaocheng, attended and delivered a speech. The Chairwoman of the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,Wang Lixia, presided over the meeting. Director Tang Guangfu of HRLwas appointed as a member of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Advisory Committee and gave a speech as a representative of the newly appointed members.

Focusing on the construction of Inner Mongolia's energy and strategic resource base, Director Tang proposed "three enhancements and three promotions" as advisory suggestions. The first is to enhance the positioning of the energy base by leveraging the breakthrough project of Inner Mongolia's science and technology to promote the clarification of key directions. The second is to enhance innovation driven by application scenarios to promote the planning of major energy demonstration projects. The third is to enhance self-reliance and self-strengthening in science and technology, guided by national major tasks, to promote the development of high-level research institutions in Inner Mongolia.
