CRRC Delegation Led by Ma Yunshuang Visits Huairou Laboratory

On November 29th, Ma Yunshuang, General Manager of CRRC, led a delegation to Huairou Laboratory. The meeting was chaired by Tang Guangfu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of Huairou Laboratory, with participation from Liu Ke'an, CRRC Vice President, Zhang Xinning, CRRC Chief Engineer, and members of the Laboratory's leadership team.

Tang Guangfu presented an overview of the Laboratory's comprehensive development over its three-year history, reviewing collaborative efforts with relevant ministries, local governments, and central enterprises. He emphasized that Huairou Laboratory practices the new national system of technological innovation, focusing on strategic, forward-looking, and foundational scientific research in the energy sector. Tang articulated the Laboratory's vision for collaborative cooperation, particularly in advancing semiconductor projects and accelerating technological innovation, research-to-application translation, and cultivation of new quality productive forces in the energy domain, ultimately contributing to China's high-level scientific self-reliance and self-strengthening.

Ma Yunshuang said that CRRC strategically positions itself as "a world-class manufacturer with rail transportation equipment as its core, competing in two markets and providing first-class system solutions," with the aim to establish a dual-track industrial development framework in rail transportation and clean energy equipment. He emphasized the company's commitment to continuous technological innovation and active promotion of clean energy businesses. Ma pledged to actively support research project collaborations and sign a strategic cooperation agreement. He outlined plans to leverage CRRC's strengths in future deep collaborations with the laboratory, particularly in domains such as power electronics, wind power, photovoltaics, and hydrogen energy, with the goal of promoting a new power system, facilitating national energy transformation, and contributing to the achievement of dual carbon goals.

Also in attendance were representatives from CRRC's Strategic Planning and Investment Department, Industrial Development Business Unit, Science and Technology Quality Information Department, and Zhuzhou Institute, along with leaders and relevant department heads from Huairou Laboratory.
