Z-Park Smart Environmental Industry Alliance Academician Expert Working Committee and Inner Mongolia Energy Group Hold a Talk with Huairou Laboratory

On March 19, a delegation headed by Z-Park Smart Environmental Industry Alliance Academician Expert Working Committee (hereinafter referred to as “Z-Park Academician Expert Committee”) Director Wu Qiang, CAE Guanghua Prize Foundation Vice President and Secretary General Dong Qingjiu, Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization Vice President Liu Zehong and Inner Mongolia Energy Group Chairman Zhang Haifeng visited Huairou Laboratory.


Huairou Laboratory Director Tang Guangfu welcomed the delegation and said that Huairou Laboratory, as a national research platform, is committed to integrating high-quality resources at home and abroad and making scientific and technological innovation to meet national needs and industrial requirements. He hoped that all parties rely on their advantages to strengthen practical cooperation, jointly promote breakthroughs in core technologies for key fields and the application of scientific and technological achievements, and provide technological support for the promotion of high-quality development of new energy.


Wu Qiang stated that the committee, as a new-type technological innovation platform, will actively play its bridging role, promote deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application, and promote the transformation of scientific and technological innovation achievements into actual productivity.


Zhang Haifeng said that Inner Mongolia Energy Group actively responds to China’s national carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategic goals and strives to achieve upgrading and transformation of the energy industry through technological innovation. He said that IME expects to establish a long-term and stable cooperation relationship with Huairou Laboratory, jointly promote the integration of empirical application and technology research and development, enhance innovation-driven capabilities, transform resource advantages into development advantages, and contribute to the transformation toward green and low-carbon development of China's energy industry.


Also present at the meeting were personnel from the Department of Science and Technology and the Energy Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, leaders of Huairou Laboratory and representatives of relevant departments.
