Harbin Electric Corporation General Manager Huang Wei Visits Huairou Laboratory for Research Exchange

On January 22, Huang Wei, General Manager of Harbin Electric Corporation (HEC), led a delegation to Huairou Laboratory for a work exchange. The meeting was chaired by Tang Guangfu, Director of Huairou Laboratory and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. HEC Deputy General Manager Liu Qingyong, Deputy Secretary-General of Huairou Laboratory Wang Li, and Assistant Director Dong Anyou also attended the meeting.
Tang Guangfu provided an overview of the Laboratory's overall construction and operational status, expressing gratitude for the strong support HEC has given to the Laboratory's development. He stated that the Laboratory, relying on China's new type of whole-nation system, is exploring innovative models for energy science and technology, taking on national responsibilities. He emphasized the desire for deeper collaboration between the Laboratory and HEC in the ongoing flexible coal-fired power generation pilot project, as well as in supporting major national scientific and technological projects and contributing to the development of a next-generation power system, with the goal of achieving win-win benefits.
Huang Wei expressed his gratitude for the continuous support and assistance that Huairou Laboratory has provided to HEC. He stated that HEC attaches great importance to its strategic cooperation with the Laboratory and is willing to provide comprehensive support to accelerate breakthroughs in key core technologies and the application of major research achievements. Regarding the flexible coal-fired power generation pilot project, he emphasized the establishment of a dedicated team and a detailed action plan to ensure the project is completed on time, maintaining high quality and efficiency. Huang also expressed hope for further expanding and deepening cooperation with the Laboratory in the energy sector in the future.
Responsible persons from various departments and teams of Huairou Laboratory, as well as HEC's relevant departments and affiliated enterprises, also participated in the meeting.
