Scientific Research Team of the Smart Energy Research Institute Holding an Academic Report on "Intelligent Extraction Algorithm for Equivalent Circuit Models of Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS)"
Release Time:2024-01-19
On January 5, the scientific research team of the Smart Energy Research Institute invited Dr. Li Hangyue of Tsinghua University to give a special academic report entitled "Intelligent Extraction Algorithm for Equivalent Circuit Models of Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS)". A total of 30 members of the team, including key project leaders and technical backbones, participated in the meeting.
Dr. Li Hangyue graduated from Prof. Han Minfang’s research group in the Department of Energy and Power Engineering, Tsinghua University. He mainly engages in researches in the fields of fuel cell simulation modeling, online fault diagnosis technology, impedance testing methods, intelligent extraction algorithm, etc.
In the academic report, Dr. Li Hangyue introduced efficient and safe strategies for the online operating condition optimization and fault diagnosis of fuel cells, electrolytic cells, and solid oxide fuel cells. In addition, to address the EIS accuracy problem, he proposed a robust and fast data analysis algorithm and demonstrated its use on the site, verifying the feasibility and practicability of the algorithm.
After the report, participants had an in-depth exchange and discussion with Dr. Li Hangyue on issues such as impedance testing and DRT (distribution of relation times) analysis methods in the PEM water electrolysis systems.
The academic report can help researchers further develop research ideas on the durability attenuation and stack fault online diagnosis of PEM water electrolysis systems, and deepen their understanding of diversified electrochemical characterization methods, hence having a guiding significance for their scientific research work.
