Beijing Institute of Smart Energy

  Beijing Institute of Smart Energy, which is directly managed by Huairou Laboratory, is a new type of scientific research institute co-founded by the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and the State Grid Corporation of China. With a mission of serving China's strategic goals in the energy field, the Beijing Institute of Smart Energy targets at the major strategic needs in the process of energy transition under the "dual carbon" goal. It systematically carries out technical breakthrough projects, process experiments, and researches on basic theories and cutting-edge technologies, to support the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system in China. The Smart Energy Research Center will strive to become a national scientific and technological force in the energy field.
