Researchers of Huairou Laboratory Attending IFWS & SSLCHINA 2023

From November 28 to 30, researchers of Huairou Laboratory attended the 9th International Forum on Wide Bandgap Semiconductors & the 20th China International Forum on Solid State Lighting (IFWS & SSLCHINA 2023). The event was hosted by Xiamen Municipal People's Government, Xiamen University, China Advanced Semiconductor Industry Innovation Alliance (CASA), and China Solid State Lighting Alliance (CSA). With the theme of "Low Carbon Coordination for an All-win Cooperation", the event focused on the technological innovation progress of the entire industry chain of the wide bandgap semiconductor industry, covering optoelectronics, power, radio frequency, etc. It also dwelt on the new situation, new opportunities and new strategies for global cooperation, innovation and development of the wide bandgap semiconductor industry under the "dual carbon" goal. As a classic international annual event of the industry, SSLCHINA has ushered in its 20th session while IFWS has been held for eight consecutive years. As a comprehensive forum for the entire industry chain with the largest scale and highest standards, IFWS & SSLCHINA has become the most professional and influential international annual event in the wide bandgap semiconductor field held in China.

The themed forum on wide bandgap semiconductor was held from November 29 to 30. Invited by the host, researchers of Huairou Laboratory gave a technical report, which received unanimous affirmation and widespread attention from the participating experts. After the report, researchers of the Laboratory further exchanged with experts and scholars in the field, discussing the frontiers of academic development, which deepened their overall understanding of the industry. Researchers of the Laboratory actively studied reports of the conference, hoping to learn new technologies and new ideas in new fields and accelerate scientific research progress.
Nearly a hundred companies were invited to showcase their products and related manufacturing solutions and equipment. Researchers of the Laboratory communicated and established contacts with a number of process, equipment and packaging manufacturers, thereby laying the foundation for future business cooperation. At the same time, the researchers actively communicated and established contacts with well-known experts and scholars from universities and enterprises, with an intention of deeper cooperation and exchange in the future.
